RunFit MKE is a fitness training and nutrition coaching practice inspired by runners, but designed for anyone who wants to get their body running fit. Whether you are lacing up your shoes for a run on the trails or to run errands around town, your journey will be far more successful if your body is agile, flexible, strong and balanced. With RunFit MKE you'll put your best foot forward on race day, and every day.

I remember when I couldn't run a mile. Here I am a few years later having competed in 5 marathons, 7 half-marathons and a few other fun runs. I do it because I said I couldn't. I do it because I have a competitive spirit. I do it for a million reasons, but at the end of the day the most important thing is I DO IT. Whatever your "it" is, I want to be part of it. If you are a runner, or a non-runner with the spirit of an athlete, let me help you get your body running fit.  

I’m certified by the National Council on Strength and Fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer, and by Precision Nutrition as a Certified Nutrition Coach. A 2000 graduate of UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, I built a 12-year career in financial services before embarking on my dream to promote the health and well-being of others. My approach to personal training is simple and it’s the same way I approach every aspect of my life- I practice what I preach, and recognize that without health, life cannot be fully lived. Whether my clients are returning from joint surgeries or training for their next race, I absolutely love the process of uncovering each person’s unique goals and tailoring a program to reach them.

Growing up I was always active but not all that confident. After high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps where I learned that taking care of my mind and body impacts every aspect of my life. When I started training, it changed me; and I developed a passion for wanting to help others get to a better place both physically and mentally too. I left the Corps as a a Marine Corporal and became competitive in CrossFit, bodybuilding, Olympic weightlifting and strength training.  I also graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing Degree. As a full-time trainer, if a client wants to look better or lose weight, I will absolutely help them achieve those goals. But, having served in the Marine Corps, my ultimate goal is to help our clients live longer, and feel able.
